Almost every express and all passenger trains stops here.Premium Trains don't have halt here.This place is dangerous during night.I would recommend you to book Private Cab during night.Station is well maintained.Information board works all the time.Construction is going on.

Danapur railway station is also known as Khagaul station locally, the station is well built and is currently expanding under construction. It has 5 platforms and almost every train has a stopage here. One can easily find trains going to almost every state from this station, with frequent trains going to UP, Delhi, Assam, etc.

Also known as Khagaul station among locals. Important station in Patna Capital Region as many of the trains towards Delhi /Mumbai has been terminated upto here /originated from here instead of Patna Junction. Facilities/Amenities are all good. A lot of auto is available for Mithapur Bus stand and Patna Railway Junction from Exit side of Platform No.- 1
