Visited in first week of march. And this place is awesome. Very few people's there. You can reach out to the top of mountain by taking steps and walk combined. This is genuine location for Purnagiri Mandir. Others are fake or dislocated. Just find the gate of punagiri mata mandir from khatima pithoragarh highway. Mandir is 18 km from this check point. You can take your vehicle to gate of temple( other than mela days). Then you have to left the vehicle in parking lot. And reach to temple by foots. You can purchase sacrament bag from top of temple. No need to take from the beginning of trek. You will find huge difference in price from bottom to top of temple. No network area due to ISD network of nepal. There is no other way to reach to temple other than feets from tunyas to mata darbar.

Its a great place to visit. Natural beauty of this place is amazing. To sit on the river bank and to see blue water , It gives us , an experience of heaven. River 'KALI' flowing with our path all the way from Tanakpur to 'MAA PURNAGIRI TEMPLE' .LISTENING SOUND OF FLOWING RIVER GIVES US AN EXPERIENCCE OF GREAT MUSIC.; PEAKS JUNGLE RIVER', NATURE PUT ALL TOGETHER HERE. DO YOU KNOW KALI RIVER IS FLOWING ALONG WESTERN BORDER OF NEPAL WITH INDIA . THIS RIVER KNOWN AS ;SHARDA RIVER' IN PLANES WHERE AS 'KALI' IN HILLY AREAS. NEARBY PLACES FROM TANKPUR : NEPAL ADJOINING TO TANAKPUR, CHUKA BEACH ( TIGER RESERVE),AROUND 47 KMS. NAINITAL AROUND 100 KMS., NANK SAGAR DAM AND NANAKMATTA GURUDWARA AROUND 39 KMS, MEETHA REETHA SAHEB AROUND 78 KMS. CHAMPAWAT ( HIDDEN JEWEL OF UTTRAKHAND) 73 KMS.

I visited poornagiri temple after 22 years.things are change a lot . Now we can reach upto bharow mandir by own four wheeler.previously we have to track all the way to mandir.now there are a lots of Dharamshala with modrean amenities like modern clean washroom , drinking water toliets, tv and electricity and various restaurants for food.nOnly one issue is there is very limited Mobile network.most of networks are not working there only BSNL and cellone (nepal) network is working .
