East Oshawa Animal Hospital

We visited EOAH from Toronto due to the overwhelming vet demand in the city. We were not disappointed. EOAH took excellent care of our Whippet when he was neutered, and followed up to make sure the healing process was going well. They were very professional and courteous - would recommend.

The staff here was very friendly and helpful, and unlike some other vets I've been to, the price they gave me at the start of the visit was accurate throughout my pet's procedure and followup. Was very happy to not have a bunch of random fees pop up out of nowhere.

Amazing experience! Very knowledgeable vet who explains everything and communicates well. Doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures or medication. He and everyone else seemed to really care about animals on a personal level. Everyone was also very gentle with my cat, and the receptionist was lovely too.

Before my dog passed of cancer many months ago now, we took her to EOAH. We were greeted with a very poor, almost accusatory tone. Like we had done something wrong. As if we weren't upset already. My dog passed as we were trying to figure out how much I would be willing to pay to save her. I won't forget that experience.nnSince then we have taken in a kitten. We chose EOAH again due to its close location to us. Having been sever months since our last visit. We have taken the cat in several times since without incident.nnThis place is a bit more pricey than its other local competitors, but if you're willing to pay, your pets will be in good hands here.

Always friendly and knowledgeable staff and doctors. My dog usually has really bad anxiety around people not in our family but you'd never be able to tell with how much he likes everyone here. Appreciate that the doctors share as much information with you that you require and answer every question without pushing you off to get to their next appointment.
