I have a cattle dog mix who is extremely distrustful and fearful of veterinary hospitals after a series of bad experiences with vets and forceful handling in another city. I sought out East Bend because they are Fear Free Certified, and our experience with them has been wonderful. The entire staff have been kind, understanding, and very patient with him. They proceed at his pace, and strive to keep the experience positive. He gets a pheromone bandana upon arrival, and is quickly shepherded into a quiet room with more feel-good pheromones. He's had to be sedated for exams and vaccines in the past because of his fear and reactivity, but his most recent annual exam with Dr. Thomas was able to happen anesthesia-free! Dr. Thomas was fantastic - he took his time to build trust with my dog by going slow and tuning into his body language, being calm and confidant, and showering him with treats and pets. Thank you so much, East Bend - after years of searching, I'm so glad to have finally found a vet that is a good fit for us!

I love this place. Every person we have interacted with is so nice. Dr. Thomas is great, and so genuine. I cannot recommend this place more!

I've taken two of my exotic animals their and they have been not only very knowledgeable about them and confident in their care, but they're very nice, laid back, and caring. This is definitely my #1 choice for my animals!

Thank you so much for all you did for my Grace Mae.. Dr.Thomas and staff saved him from a lot of pain . Lots of caring in this office....
