Our Lady of Fathima Church at Itarhi, near Buxar, is an old church of this area which has been magnanimously serving the local community with much needed primary health care and education from before Independence days. With the help of Congregation of Jesus(CJ) nuns they run a school, boarding house and a primary health centre.
