Banganga shivling also known as Baneswar is situated on coastline of Somnath. There are couple of Shivlinga visible during the low tides. It’s very exciting view to see water of sea greeting abhishek on Lingas . Bit risky due slippery surface. There are many myth associated with the Lingas one of which says that this Lingas have been set up by PANDAVAs during their exile to worship lord Shiva .Localites says that is the place hunter tribe 'Jara' bathed and worshiped Lord Shiva before going for hunting in ancient time.

Shivling Darshan available from Somnath temple via Binocular but real darshan Is more advisable. Road is worst and dont go inside sea if you dont know swim. Place is not developed and very dirty.
