The Olive Mount Aided UP School at a place named Olive Mount near Kuzhalmannam(Alathur Tk) comes under the Corporate Management of MarThoma & Educational Agency, Thiruvalla. It is located nearly 1 km away from Kuzhalmannam inner junction on the rightside of the road (parallel to NH) leading to Pudukkode junction in the NH. The entrance to the weekly cattle market, Excise Office and KSEB offices are located at the first half of this road. Also, there are 2 hospitals in this road. The road is not at all busy as there are very few houses and bare in traffic.nAs the selection of teachers by the management is strictly based on qualification, academic efficiency & merit, the standard of teaching here is opined good. The school has all pre-requisites including a library of nearly 1000 books. Mid-day meal is provided to students. The meal items are prepared in the school itself under strict supervision of the HM/Principal. There is a sub post office in the name of Olive Mount adjacent to the campus.
