The Additional District and Sessions Court is situated inside the premises of District Court complex and it is functioning as the appellate court of the civil courts functioning in this District.This Court is also authorised to conduct trials of sessions cases allotted to it by the District and sessions Court.I remember the trial of a murder case investigated by me, in this court which had caught the attention of everybody in which two veteran advocates of the High Court had appeared one for the prosecution and the other for the defence.However in the strong fight Prosecution won the case.Big Salute to the then Additional Sessions Judge and the Prosecutor who is no more.
