District and Sessions Court, Palakad

The District and Sessions Court Palakad is the court in which I had tendered evidence in the majority of sessions cases investigated by me as I had spent a decade of my official tenure in Palakad District.I also remember the fact that almost all cases ended in conviction except one or two in which the witnesses had turned hostile due to the undue influence of the opposite parties.Most important thing I remember is the case of murder for gain occurred in Palakad Town which was proved in the court based on the evidence of Finger Print developed from the scene of crime and this helped me to become the first recipient of the Best investigator award instituted in Kerala police in the year 1995 consisting of a Gold medal of one sovereign and a cash reward of INR five thousand.A big salute to the then Hon Sessions Judge.
