Raza art gallery inauguratednnMandla - The lamp of the Raza Kala Vithika was inaugurated on 22 February 2020 on the 98th birthday of world famous painter Marhum Syed Haider Raza. It is the first art gallery in the world named after Syed Haider Raza. The exhibition was organized by the District Archaeological and Tourism Council, Mandla on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of Raza Kala Vithika, in which artifacts and photographs of local painters, sculptors and cinematographers were displayed. Famous sarod maestro Abhishek Lahiri and Parthasarathy Mukherjee tied the plaque with a stunning performance on tabla at the inauguration of Raza Kala Vithika. On this occasion Collector Dr. Jagdish Chandra Jatia, Superintendent of Police Deepak Shukla, Managing Trustee of Raza Foundation Ashok Vajpayee, Kaushal Kishore, Advisor to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, famous painters Manish Puskale and Yogendra Tripathi and other artists including social worker Vibhuti Datta Jha and a large number of Local people were present.
