Excellent centre if Higher studies. It's supported by MHRD and has been able. To support the Local areas as well as admit students through various national and state level exams. It's a deemed university and the standard of teaching is commendable. The faculty are well versed with the latest changes in basics and higher education and has been able enhance students with best support possible. The infrastructure and allied support system is dynamic The hostel is well maintained and clean and safe. Thanks to the Management Ps :The need of permanent VC is awaited

Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar is situated 9 km away from Kokrajhar main town located in Balagaon Bazar. Campus size- 83 acre. Faculty- 259+ Students- 1381+ Course- B.Tech(Civil/computer Sci/ECE/Food Eng Technology/Information Technology), B.Des, Dip in Animation and other Diploma courses are offered. Academics It is average because what we have seen is that they focus more of theory. Some teachers only give notes and don't just explain things out nicely. Only few teachers are there who gives us practical projects and works on our concept. The curriculum not at all makes us job ready. No guide for our GATE exam nor how to prepare, nor any link with the corporate world. Placements The placement is the worst. No placement till now. Nor our seniors got any. All have to struggle after passout. They are not even trying. I think they should really work upon this as it is about a person's career. Value-for-money Yes you get a degree in your hand from a Central institute. But no guidance and after the degree you have to struggle as no placement. So prepare yourself from now on. Campus Life Campus life is good. The campus is beautiful and have all the facilities but no AC in the classrooms. The teachers are friendly and supportive. The location is far from the town but it is safe inside the campus. No incident occurred till now.

worst institute, this institute conduct entrance exam but they don't care what ranking you get on rank list of entrance exam they give seats to students belonging to BTAD only and discriminate by some stupid cast system, if you are thinking of give entrance to this institute better not waste of money, they collect only for their institute fund.
