It's okay for traveling in local trains. Express train do no stop in Panitola because it's too small. The restroom is very small. Drinking water taps are also not available in the station.

One of the busiest road in the road from Tinsukia to Dibrugarh. If you own personal vehicle it's better to take a different route. The frequency of the trains in this station is very very rare so it's advisable people should board bus or other modes of road transport. Buses to go to Guwahati are generally not available from evening 5-8 pm.Late night we ca get bus services both deluxe AC and non AC. So it's better to plan accordingly if you come for any work. I had to travel every day from Digboi to sivasagar for my work purposes and faced some difficulties. The rented car or rapido service is yet to make its mark here so will have to wait for few more days.
