Great number of relics reminds us of our golden glorious era. Spectacular ruins generally attracts people mostly who are interested in the history. But people from all the fields get attracted towards charismatic view of the place. Natural beauty often make us mesmerise.

One of the peaceful historical place in tezpur to visit. Where you can see various sculptures, though they are disrupted but we can see the sculpture of the early days

A very ancient historical site of Tezpur. The entire hillock is a temple ruin. The architectural style of the ruins is dated back to the 9th and 10th Century CE. It is not clear which dynasty or ruler constructed the temple structure. But the detailed work on the monolithic stones highlight the fact that the builders of this structure were highly advanced. The rocks are intricately carved and have various stories from Indian mythology depicted on them. One such sculpture structure is of the Narashimha avatar of Vishnu, with the demon king Hirannakashyapu on his lap. A must visit if you are in Tezpur.
