The Christ Hospital

A rare event took me back to Christ Hospital. Christ is my go-to and I think they are awesome. Once again the doctors and supporting staff were kind and informative. They made sure I was comfortable with all the details of my procedure. Should something happen in the future I will definitely go back.

I should have written this 15 years ago but everything was too emotional at the time and I realize that most, if not all, of the people who worked with my mother aren't there anymore. This review is based on the care my mother received in the early 2000's for a chronic and life-threatening condition . There were occasional nurses and CNA's which were great but most of them that I encountered were not. For any of you who have gone through the stress of caring for an ill parent and to know they are not being treated well, just compounds things. One day as we walked into my mothers room, we found my mother wedged in between the bed and the railing, with cords and IV tubes all tangled up and she was unable to call for assistance due to the medication she was one. The nurses station was literally 20ft from her room, it was so frustrating. Nothing to do with their medical prowess, but they had a Wendy's restaurant just off the lobby. the people who worked behind that counter were just mean and nasty. Yelling at customers because they didn't speak loud enough and simply treated you badly. i need to stop before I get carried away....

Nurse was spouting anti-vaccine garbage pre-surgery. Sent to collections despite monthly payments. Do not recommend for surgery.

I had just moved here to Cincinnati. Not familiar with anything. Was in extreme pain and came across this hospital on google. Went ahead and came to the emergency room and had phenomenal service. They was nice and respectful. Got me checked in and into a room. Then gave me my wonderful nurse Alison . She assessed me and had the doctor in stat. Dr.Henkle was amazing he worked with me and my anxiety . Had to do a emergency procedure. Had me fixed and feeling much better and on my way. I appreciate everything this hospital did for me in my time of need. God bless y’all. And keep up the good work!!

I honestly have no idea what was going on throughout the whole experience. The nurse, Sarah was her name, was clearly on some sort of drug. Seeming extremely happy, going off topic, and at some point she started singing while talking. I’m also fairly sure I heard another two nurses in the closet next to me screwing. Extremely unprofessional.
