Overall all hotel facilities are very good. Rooms are large and spacious, well maintained. Bathrooms too are large and have a tub for those of you wondering. The gymnasium is decent not the best though I have seen much better. However there are a number of drawbacks to this property. Firstly the commute from the airport is minimum of 45 mins and with traffic it can easily touch 1 hour or more. Secondly the satellite TV had no English movie channels so lacking on the entertainment side. Lastly the in room dining menu had very limited options for a 5 star hotel.

Probably the best hotel in Guwahati .. stayed in the suite and enjoyed the experience. Food and ambience is excellent , service is overall good as well however it’s still a notch below the Taj in bigger cities and sometimes a bit slow. Overall no complaints and a comfortable stay.. keep improving and keep up the good work.

Courteous staff! Clean Room! Good food! Specially, during Corona Pandemic, one needs hygienic stay in hotels. I observed hotel staff taking satisfactory precautionary measures. I had a wonderful experience! Keep up the hard good work guys!

Infrastructure is decent. However, service was just pathetic. I had a bad experience especially in regards with in room dining section. I was trying to call them for ordering lunch. Either they weren't responding or the phone was busy. After trying for almost an hour, I called up the manager number given on the welcome letter. That's how I got my lunch for the day. Second surprise: Lid which covered my dessert already had a chunk of some other food which was not a part of my meal. This was during the pandemic. Vivanta Gau should pay my hospital bill if i come positive➕ after their maintained hygiene (fun intended). Other departments are no less. You ask for something and then forget coz even they forget. I asked for green tea which both of us forgot🤪
