It's been great experience seeing authentic and original art pieces from local artists. If you love paintings with Oriental flavor you would love this place. It's not big so one hour is enough. A good surprise find for my day trip in Hyderabad :)

Beautiful art pieces which are intricate in their own way. They have tried to cover a wide time range from 1960s to 2011. Huge Canvases to small ones, bronze work and fibre one. Definitely a one time visit place. Let your imagination do wonders for you.

Fantastic gallery and upkeep..worthy addition to the birla museum collection..must visit if visiting birla museum/planetorium and with a interest in art/painting..loved the collection ..nI expected to see more paintings from different states not just west bengal where the majority painters hail from..nAhmed Hussain paintings with the complete episodes of Ramayana and Bhagavad took the most time which the older people would like..nOverall a great time..

A large collection of Paintings, statues and much more. All are so old which makes them so precious today.nnAll are fine arts which will impress you with the work.nnFrom Chinese to other part of the world to Old Indians many things to see. Arts people can have a good time here.
