Madison County Courthouse

It's ok as far as courthouses go. I hate the stairs. And I'm not exactly sure if there is an easy way for handicapped people to get up and down from the street to the door. I imagine there would be, however I didn't see one that I can remember.

Would be 5* without the Confederate statue. Just saying. :/ Edit: I'm keeping my promise. 😏

I have visited this place twice for my vehicle registration etc. My experience was good but it's very hard to find parking space nearby.

Tried to get my license plates switched over from California about two months ago, the lady who helped me said I needed the title number and gave me a form to fill out. After two months of back and forth with my financing company they finally got the title number to me, I returned to the office and gave them the information and they said they needed a copy of the title. I called my financing company and they faxed over a copy to the licensing office, which didn’t have the title number printed on it, but I had it printed on the form which they had given me. I return to inform them a copy was faxed and then they said I needed the original title. The lady who helped me said ‘I’m gonna get you a new form’ then proceeded to just blot out with pen, on the form I already had filled out, the words that said ‘copy’ and ‘fax to’ then said I need to have my financing company mail the original title. I asked her why was I told differently the first time, and then I asked her if scratching words out with pen on an already filled out form counts as a new form, because that seems confusing and unprofessional, and she started getting visibly angry. I said thank you for your help and left before things escalated, but she was rude and condescending, and unwilling to answer my questions. I can’t believe how unprofessional and disorganized this office is. I am beyond angry and disappointed.

AWFUL! Steer clear of this place. There is a free one-way shuttle service, but the seats are uncomfortable. Upon arrival, they take a photo of you for their Instagram page. Not the most welcoming place I have ever visited. The bed in breakfast was well under par.
