One should visit this anicient place.

The most awe inspiring thing about this temis it’s age. The temple was built in AD 972, 1048 years ago. Just think about that for a minute and let that sink in. Now take a look at all these pictures here. The amount of planning that went into constructing this temple becomes very apparent if you look around. We were luck to visit the temple on a day when there weren’t many visitors. It gave us time and room to peacefully appreciate the grandeur of this ancient place of worship. One can only imagine how gorgeous this plcae must have looked like during its peak. Glad that the authorities are attentive enough to preserve this place.

Very old and sacred temple. One among the five Pancharamams. You will get a divine feeling after visiting this place, which is visited by many of our forefathers.

Architecture is well crafted, needs greater attentions and renovation s from like minded Shiva devotees. Just its holding on the stones.
