I must say Alabaster Police Department is what serving the people is all about. Having my keys locked in my car trying to see about my frustrated toddler and running late for new hire orientation Office Shaun was a great assistance. I’m thankful & grateful for a department as such!!

I was stopped for intentionally driving the wrong way because I didn't want hit a traffic jam while entering highway 65. This happened at around 9:10pm. I anticipated in getting a huge ticket or even taken to jail because I admit that what I did was not only dangerous but also stupid. The officer was very patient, polite and very respectful toward me. He calmly asked me why I did it, I responded and he asked me for my license (out of state) and address told me that he won't keep me long. A minute later, he came back give me my license and ask me to be careful next time and he let me go. Frankly I was shocked and grateful. I kept saying thank you. May God reward him and make his life easy.

Had an officer go out of his way to be kind to my son while at a local restaurant, even offered to buy him a treat. This speaks volumes for the character of the officer.

Apparently if you live in Keystone Mobile Home community this department will not assist or help you . We had to deal with unruly neighbors shooting fireworks at our cars, our home, and even helping themselves to our front porch . Fireworks were shot directly at our dog as well. This department was contacted and did not care. I'm not sure if its laziness or just unconcern for an area they don't care about. Either way, we reside in Alabaster and are entitled to the same police assistance as everyone else.
