Christ Church

This church is closed when I go there,nAll Lights are shut down. No one person had not present.It looks like abandoned.

Its a place where Christians are pry .

I love this Christ Church.It's is a little history of barddhaman. Just beside of Bijoy Torun Gate(Lord Carzon Gate). It's small but the emotional attach with this Church is huge. People love to visit this Church on 25th Dec Christmas Day. It's well maintained. Neat and clean. People respect this place. A small community live in Barddhaman but this Church is for everyone. It's not open all the year. It's not a visiting place. It's may open on Sunday morning. You can see it from outside but can't go inside without Permission.Bardhaman Christ Church or Girga(in Bengali language) is just adjacent to Carson Gate. This church remains open for all in the mornings on every Sunday. This historical place made up with red hued bricks which attack people from different sections of the society during the verious festival occasions. On Christmas day a lot of people visit this place.Holy environment is everywhere. I really enjoyed to visit this place.nnThe Bardhaman Girija Ghar or the Christ Church is just adjacent to the Curzon Gate. People visiting this historical Curzon Gate can also visit this church made up of red hued bricks which attracts people from the different sections of the society during the various festive occasions. The church also remains open for all in the mornings on every Sunday.nnThe Sanskriti Metro Movie Theatre in Kalibazaar Para in Bardhaman is also near the Curzon Gate. People can go and watch the latest movies in this newest edition of the Sanskriti Cinema Hall which has decent picture as well as sound qualities. The Bardhaman Municipal High School and the Town Hall are also near the Curzon Gate further down the Grand Trunk Road. Being on the centre of the city of Bardhaman, Curzon Gate is surrounded by various shops and bank branches as well as ATM machines which can be easily accessed by the tourists as well the residents of Bardhaman.

A very well maintained church and peaceful atmosphere inside. A living history.
