I was here in the last week for February 2021 for 3 days. I had come mostly for Bird watching and I was not disappointed. More than 80+ species of birds were spotted with more than half of them being a lifer for me. The stay was equally comfortable and stress free. Mr. Joshi and his family are the most kind people that I know. The food was tasty and the chill and the silence was always welcomed. Come here if you are up for a different kind of trip.

The stay was quite good. I stayed there for more than 1 month and it was a delight. From there you could witness the snow covered himalayan ranges and the epic sunrise and sunset. The hosts were also very supporting and helpful. If you want a place where there is no city noise and want to spend some time in peace, then this place is a must visit.

Stayed in The Joshi Cottage for three months and had a great experience overall. The food was tasty and bonfire with the sky full of stars was absolutely mesmerizing.nnI stayed there with my friends and felt like home. .All our needs were met by Joshi ji and we are grateful for the same. Electricity and water is available 24/7 and often you can spot a deer, fox, or even panther. Would love to go back.

Joshi Cottages are placed in the midst of the most beautiful jungle surrounded by mountains. There is no better place if you need peace and calm. The sunsets are just magical and you will never forget them. The Joshi family is very warm and will help you with anything you need. The food prepared by Kewal ji is delicious. If you want a relaxing vacation, look no further.

wonderful location, amazing host. very helpful with your needs.none of the most peaceful places you can stay in Uttarakhand. very homely food is served by Joshi ji and their family.ntwo thumbs up !!
