The place is famous for Sri panakala lakshmi Narasimha swamy temple. Which was built in 16th century. The galigopuram is also a historical monument. It's mandal head quarters having, police station, MRO, Office, Registration office, more than 10 schools, 7 colleges, two big hospitals (NRI & AIIMS). Famous for hand waving cotton cloths (mangalagiri cotton). Narasimha swamy kalyanam on holi poornima celebrating very grand and illuminating lightings. Cheruku, mitai, whistles are famous for tiranla. It's in between vijayawada and guntur.

Mangalagiri Railway station is a small but very beautiful station, it is well connect with both Vijayawada and Guntur railway station. It is a 5 minutes walk from the Mangalagiri Main Road & Bus Stand. Very well connected with the road as well maintained.

Most of the trains only stops for few seconds... Because it's a small station... But it's good 👌
