This is one of the worst shops that i ever visited...they charge you 4 times more the actual price... as a tourist we didn't know ... because it was the first shop that was there on road.. we went in and they looted us soo much...for the coconut shell handbags RS 650/-..tea coasters 350/- .we bought it and went to another shop which is there on the same road...the same handbag was RS- 250 and tea coasters were 100/-...we were so shocked to know this.. we wanted to buy curtain shell separaters in sagarekha shop...first a guy told it was 550 rs but as soon as other person heard the same on spot they changed the price to 1200...we got a doubt and didn't buy the item... please dont go to this shop...there are many other shops on the same road where you ll get cheaper items...

First and foremost thing, this is a rip off of Sagarekha Emporium which is managed by Andaman and Nicobar tourism, and is a private firm which deals in sovernirs, spices, shells, etc. Furthermore, they are charging exorbitantly high for the same item you can get from the pavement vendors, stalls in the beaches. For instance, I was getting a showpiece for ₹200 @Laksmanpur beach, Neil Island, the exact same item they were selling for ₹350. Moreover, it's a fixed price shop, so you couldn't negotiate on the price. But again, the finishing of the item you get here would be better as they must be having selected items in their showroom. Plus, it's a Air conditioned showroom, having staff to guise you through your shopping.

Please dont go here. They will fool you with fake gem stones. I had got red coral strands. Costed me 10000 rupees. When i had showed it to jewellary in my native they told its duplicate. I could not believe as it looked very real. So basically i got fooled with 300 rs stones for 10000 rs. I am posting here and most of the online travel sites so you guys dont end up like me. Try Sagarikha Emporium which is managed by govt. Please note the spelling. Also all travel guides, driver get comminssion for bring you to fraud shops. I cant stress this enough. Please dont get fooled.
