Sri City has three Helipads. They have built three Helipads which is a requirement for Very Very Important Persons (VVIP) like President of India, Vice-President of India and Prime Minister of India. This Helipad is strategically located. During the Chennai floods this Helipad was used to drop food packets. Also, VIPs use it to visit SHAR, Srihari Kota whenever SHAR Helipad is occupied.
