My late father, Carlos,and I spent time travelling in 2013 to our homeland of Goa, India.And I was there again as well just prior to Covid.nHe always loved the church & his cousins came down from New Zealand to celebrate the feast during the former year.nFather Carvalho , the other priests, and clergy staff were very friendly and hospitable.nThere was one time during a sermon which was in Konkani, and everybody raised their hand to his question & concern.I stood silent & motionless as I was only there for over a week & barely remembered my native language. He was humble enough to translate into English for me so that way I felt comfortable among the parishioners.In essence, that story surmises the church as well as the community. I have fond memories.

For people who needs to see goa's beautiful places and churches include this in your list , little further from here there is a beautiful creek.

Typicl Portugues Architecture is evident from the design of the church. This church is also he host to the Poderanche fest.

Beautiful church in a scenic location. Basic amenities for children are available. Went there to enjoy in the merriment on 15th August as well as to enjoy the Patoleo for the first time in my life as I am a non-Goan. Could not lay my hands on more than 1. Probably, I was late in reaching the church compound at 1pm. Stayed for only an hour in the light drizzle as my 64yr old legs could not hold on more. Will want to visit again next year. Cheers and Viva Goa.
