The artefacts installed in the museum complex have been excavated from the ruins of Kangra Fort. After the devastating earthquake of 1905, the fort structure along with temples and palace building was grounded to dust. The staff at ASI, toiled day Night to preserve and maintain the essence of this heritage fortress and it's history. Every artefact on display has a story, moreover a rich history with it. Must see, for art lovers and admirers of heritage.
