A famous temple in Kerala for pithru tharpanam near Manathavady in Wynadu.The diety is Mahavishnu.It is not known when this temple was constructed.A holy dip in the Papanasini water stream is believed as sacred as it will remove all sins.It is believed that Loard Brahma has performed thapass here and hence known as Brahmagiri.Earlier this place was in the dense forest and now a small village.We can see an aquaduct made of stone supported by stone pillars to bring water to the temple from the hill behind.

Location was incredible... the architecture, the place, view point and the history was very good. The way to tirunelli was really awesome.. the forest and the road was very good and maintained.. should buy unniyappam from turning to tirunelli.. the sweet was famous among keralites..

Excellent serene place. The temple is situated in hills that make us really beautiful. The road the the temple goes through national forest so, you can spot animals we spotted an elephant.
