We visited Pookode Lake in December 2018. We had to park our car in the paid parking lot, from where we had to walk half a kilometre to the entrance gate of the lake garden. Parking charges were ₹30 for the car. Entry charges to the lake are ₹20 per head, and still camera charges are also ₹20, which is ridiculous, as there are no charges for phone cameras. There was a small snack stall near the parking area where we had some breakfast.

I liked this place, but... It's is really a normal lake. It seems the vehicles are parked in the roadside!nnBTW, this is a good place at all!

Lovely place to visit. Make sure to do the boating.... Take a binoculars to enjoy the distant chembra peak...
