The road to this place has very good scenery and road quality is also good. One point to note is that one has to walk for about 1 km from parking to view the falls. Also can not take bath (forest officials posted below the falls). But the huge gush of falls will appeal to anyone. Overall a good tourist place for the route, scenery and waterfalls.

Beautiful. Needs a long walk to reach yet worth in every sense. You won’t be able to go near the falls but once you see you will know why. It’s fast, big and scary.

Sentinel Rock Falls is another name for the Soochippara Waterfalls. The vehicles are a little off and then you have to walk about 1.5 km through the jungle to reach the waterfall.nThe three-story waterfall, which is 100 feet to 300 feet in height, has the advantage of being an adventurous boat ride (white water rafting) and swimming.n(See Map 2)nBest time to visit: Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan.nVisiting Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pmnEntry Fees for EntrynAdult Rs.50nChildren Rs.30nCamera Rs.40nForeigners Rs.90nCamera (Foreigners) Rs.80

There is a well laid out walking pathway from the parking lot to the waterfalls for about 1 km. Granite stone steps lead down to the waterfalls. The falls though relatively small even in July is an attraction for the walk through the forest and for those wanting to take a bath. Forest department and the local volunteer group have done a good job in keeping the area clean and in providing guidance.

Awesome waterfalls. To reach the falls we have to walk for 2.5 KM which is not recommend to elders and physically challenged persons. The falls area is good but crowded on weekends. Prefer going on weekdays you can enjoy a lot.
