Sehore District of Madhya Pradesh is situated at the foothill of Vindhyachal range in the middle of Malwa region. It's an ancient township and remain the spiritual and meditation center for many priests including the Maharshi Patanjali who stayed here founder of Yoga sect. According to few legend Lord Rama, Laxman and Sita also visited. Mathas, temples, Mosques and Churches reflect the religious antiquity as it's a place of homogeneous culture and glorious traditional communal harmony. Pili Masjid was built during the Nawab's rule. Situated close to the Bhopali Phatak in Qasba. It's a popular place of worship and landmark of Sehore.
