Beautiful store with enchanting window display, excellent selection in leather and home goods, accessories and fragrances. Two stars for that.nnSadly the service is rather lacking, especially if you step in wearing casual wear only. After the initial greeting the staff pretty much ignored us. We had been interested in purchasing a perfume and possibly a bag, but nobody ever asked us if we needed any help and they kind of acted occupied not really looking up and giving us the chance to catch their attention. Somebody should make the staff aware that even people who can afford Hermès occasionally like to wear just tshirt and jeans for comfort. Well, I took the liberty to test the fragrance in interest myself, as despite us being the only customers nobody was there to assist, and luckily the same fragrance - Kelly Calèche - is readily available at Naykaa. So despite lacking service, thanks for the opportunity to test it, even though I didn't get to buy it from there itself. The third star is for that chance.nnLooking at the other reviews, I guess as long as you're dressed up flash and look like money, they'll be more attentive. Else you'll be left alone to check out the merchandise on your own even if you're the only customer there as we were. Luckily as for the fragrances, you can get those elsewhere as well. As for the other things. Rather wait for your next international trip, once this Corona nightmare is over.nnTalking of Corona, while I can kind of forgive inattentive staff - not uncommon with such brands if they underestimate your net-worth by the looks - the way they handled our entry to the store was an absolute no-no. If I am not mistaken, at the moment by law stores need to check the temperature of customers entering and give them hand sanitizer. Well, they had a little tray next to the door with hand sanitizer and contact-less thermometer, but the two staff members after saying hello just looked at us blankly, not making any effort to actually check out temperature. Just like later with the perfume, here as well I ended up serving myself and taking some hand sanitizer before entering the store.nThis behavior struck me as highly negligent considering the current global health crisis and if I'm not mistaken, currently it's illegal too to admit customers without temperature check and providing sanitizer.nnSo even for people who usually get good service here, be aware, they are not very diligent with their anti-Covid measures. Me and my husband could have walked in without any temperature-check and hand sanitizing and touch all the merchandise on display, and you wouldn't ever know it.
