Dear All,nNature Lovers, Health is wealth Lovers, Trekkers and Travellers.nnSudhagad / Bhorapgad is a hill fort.nnLOCATION – This fort is located at 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) east of Pali in Raigad District in MaharashtrannSudhagad is a popular trekking destination as it is one of the better preserved forts in Maharashtra. It takes about 1–2 hours to reach the top of the fortnnTRANSIT MODES – BEST Transit mode should be the road transport. You can drive your car till the base village and there is ample parking space.nnWAY TO GET ALONG - There is a good trekking to way upstairs. This trek is the BEST for the first time trekkers as it comes under easy treks. Through the stairs, raw roads the way is very beautiful. And when you reach there and see the scenic beauty your all efforts pay worth it.nnThere is a water tank on the top but it’s a little tricky to get water from it. On our way the local guy had come with us to show us the drinking water storage on the fort and helped us get water.nnOn the fort there are lots and lots of things to visit. The Food storage, the Stay house, The temple, The Lake and lots of other things. Do take lots of time and visit them so as to get the feel of the energy lies therein.nnPHOTOES & SELFIES TIME - On my visit to the fort surrounded by beautiful villages I have clicked lots and lots of photographs... Good place for beginner.I suggest came for one night stay for visit all the points of this fort

Huge fort in Sudhagad, near to Pali which is a very famous Ashstvinayak destination.nnFort is huge and a lot of ruins of fortifications are available on the hill fort.

Sudhagad is one of the ancient forts in Sahyadri. It was the glory of Bhor state.nInitially, Sudhagad was called ‘Bhorapgad’. During the empire of Shivaji Maharaj this fort was named as Sudhagad. This fort is approximately 590 meters in height. Sudhagad is a huge fort. It is called a replica of Raigad.nnWays To Reach : -nnSavashnicha Ghat (A pass of Savashni) :nCome straight to Dhondase village from Pali village, which is at a distance of 12 km. It takes 3 hours to reach the fort from this place and the way is quite tiring. But it is straightforward; hence there are least chances to loose the way. We reach to Dindi Darwaaja by this way.nNandand Ghat :nMove to west from Akole village keeping Dhangad to the left. We reach Nandand Ghat within 45 minutes. Next to that there is Bavdhan village. Then move towards Pachchapur village to reach at Thakurwadi. From here we can reach the top within 2 hours.nFrom Pachchapur :nThe distance between Pali to Pachchapur is 12 km, whereas Pali to Thakurwadi is 13 km. You can walk from Pachchapur to Thakurwadi. From Thakurwadi, one has to ascend by a ladder. This route is not only slippery, but also exhaustive. It takes two hours to reach to the fort by this route. This way takes us directly to Pachchapur Darwaaja.nnभोर संस्थानाचे वैभव असलेला सुधागड किल्ला म्हणजे पुण्यातून कोकणात उतरणाऱ्या सवाष्णीच्या घाटाचा पहारेकरी. अतिशय प्रशस्त असे पठार असलेला हा किल्ला एक प्राचीन किल्ला आहे. सुधागड परिसरातील ठाणाळे आणि खड्सांबळे लेण्यांचे अस्तित्व असल्यामुळे ते सिद्ध होते. याला पहिले भोरपगड असेही म्हणत.nnपोहोचण्याच्या वाटा :-nnठाकूरवाडी अथवा दर्यागावातूनnnपालीपासून भिरा कडे जाणाऱ्या हमरस्त्यावर ८ किमी वर पाच्छापूर गाव आहे. येथून पुढे ठाकूरवाडी अथवा दर्यागाव वसलेले आहे. येथून एका सोप्या पायवाटेने गडावर २ तासात आपण पोचतो. ठाकूरवाडीतून वर जाताना मध्ये लोखंडी शिडी लागते. पाच्छापूर गावातूनही एक वाट वर येते. याnnदोन्ही वाटा एका घळीपाशी मिळतात. येथे महाकाय चिलखती बुरुज आपले स्वागत करतात. या घळीतून वर गेल्यावर आपण एका पडक्या दरवाजातून जातो, हाच पाच्छापूर कडील दरवाजा. येथून आपण १५ मिनिटे चढल्यावर गडमाथ्यावर पोचतो.
