I did my BE here. The best thing was the LAN network and DC++. 1. Nice institution for CSE because of placements. 2. Serene atmosphere and good infrastructure. 3. Average faculty. 4. Needs more funding and more perks to students in terms of scholarship and amenities.

Absolute one of the best private engineering college of India.It is the fame of the city Ranchi and state of Jharkhand. Surrounded by the lush green vegetation makes it worth a nature bliss to experience. A deemed University is doing better year by year in campus drives. The college holds a good rank in the list of top and eminent engineering colleges of India. Technology Giants like Google, Facebook, Microsoft visit here for the recruitment. After IITs this engineering college is definitely college to study engineering in India.You have to have a good rank in Jee in order to get admission into this college.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (BIT Mesra) is an Indian institute of higher education and a deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. It was established in the year 1955 at Mesra, Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand, India by the philanthropist and industrialist Late Shri. B. M. Birla. The institute was later headed by Late Shri G.P Birla and the present chairman of the board of governors is Shri C.K Birla. The main campus of the Institute at Mesra is located 16 kilometers from Ranchi in a 980-acre (4.0 km2) setting at the confluence of the rivers Jhumar and Subarnarekha. The Mesra campus is entirely residential, providing accommodation to undergraduate and postgraduate students and 550 members of faculty and staff. The infrastructure includes research laboratories, lecture halls, workshops, playground, gymnasium and a central library with over 100,000 books, journals and electronic databases
