BSNL being a public sector undertaking,it cannot cope and compete with the likes of Airtel,Jio,etc,so it's a dying Telecom office. But it also brings nostalgia,when landline was the main mode of communication (every households couldn't afford to keep a telephone)College students studying outside And those working outside of Manipur state and those working in the military had to talked on pulse rate charges (STD/ISD) where sometimes even queues were used to be formed. Hope BSNL does not died out but rather the govt.better do something to let it stay afloat and even compete with private tele-players.
