SHG Homestay Mynteng

Nice and calm stay in a tiny village half an hour away from Nongriat. There are two wooden cabins with each two beds with mosquito nets available. Place has two toilets and a cold bucket shower. Prices are more than resaonable.nIt's perfect for people who love nature, but don't need luxury! There's also a direct path from Tyrna leading to Mynteng, so no need to walk the longer way passing Nongriat.nVeronica who is managing the place for the SHG was lovely and told us a lot about the place and her culture. She and her sister prepared very good breakfast and dinner for us, even we got to taste a dish with banana flower. During the daytime we could get Maggie at Veronica's Home. We stayed two nights, but would have liked to stay a few days more!

Lovely place in a quiet and peaceful village. Veronica who runs the place was very friendly and hospitable, and the food she and her sister cooked was very delicious :-)

Veronica the host is such a sweet lady.... She goes out of her way to help you... Make sure you remind her 3 to 4 times. The location is a wodden cabin with basic amenities..... She provides lovely breakfast and dinner..... This is located in Mynteng... A small village near nogriate... Calm and peaceful place....

Excellent homestay in calm mynteng. Famous with foreigners. Host cooks very tasty food.
