Great view of Nohkalikai falls. Must visit during the monsoon, try to take a short hike to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view. This is the tallest plunge waterfall in India, take in the views while enjoying some refreshments at the shop nearby.

Should be visited by 5.00 pm to get a view of sunset from here. Waterfall is okay.nYou will.find lot of small shops to buy spices. Do buy turmeric and cinnamon from.these shops.

A must visit place!!nNohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet (340 metres).nThe waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Nohkalikai Falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of a comparatively small plateau and decrease in power during the dry season in December - February. Below the falls there has formed a plunge pool with unusual green colored water.

Extremely beautiful!nBut, I would highly recommend you all to visit waterfalls during peak monsoon or around August, September.nPeople who like adventure can also trek their way to this beauty!
