This place is a hidden gem and highly recommended for an extremely pleasant stay. The family running the place treat you as one of their own and provide you with care and hospitality you wont find in any high end establishment. The pics shown are an accurate representation of the place. We stayed in the deluxe room which is nice, cozy and clean. You have a view of the lake pichola from your bed and the view from the always open roof is better than any other place in the vicinity. We sat there for hours enjoying the view. Can be booked without any hesitation.

As you can expect for a guest house, the rooms do not have all the bells a whistles of a hotel complex. There is no complimentary tea/coffee for instance. There is hot water . You just have to remember to switch the heater on. Toilets are clean and loo paper provided. The room and shower/loo are a bit small, but the bed is comfortable and there are table and chairs both inside and on the terrace. My only complaint is that the terrace is not covered, At least mine isn't and the table gets hot enough to boil a monkey's bum in the afternoon. Luckily the Aircon is effective. The view from the terrace out over the lake is fantastic. For breakfast go the Rainbow restaurant a few steps down the hill. The food is very good but it gets crowded in the evening.

Loved our stay! As a couple, all we need is great hospitality, clean room (+bathroom) and a fantastic view! we had all of them. Pushpender uncle is a very nice person, so helpful and always available for questions. This guest house is simple and has the best view you can get at an affordable rate. I totally recommend this place :)nnThank you for giving us the best stay at Udaipur!

Everything was great except for the check out. First, the owner agreed on a late check out, then, the day after, we were asked to leave or pay 500 roupies more even if the place was totally empty and nobody was cheking in. I'm not sure I would recommend this place.
