Banjara Hostels

There is no option of rating them 0,otherwise the hostel staff completely deserves it. We had booked this hostel in the name of my husband for 24 th December through Make my trip.We had read some really good reviews about it . We reached the hotel and they asked us to wait as they were facing some issue and assured us that it will be shortly resolved..Since it was taking a lot of time,we decided to take a stroll at Lake Pichola and come back. After one hour,we returned to the hotel and Mr. VIVEK tells us that you can't stay in this hotel,we have booked you in another hotel . BTW we had already paid online!! . They did not directly tell us the exact reason for suddenly cancelling our room. We called Make my trip and they too had no clue about the situation. So ,apparently these guys had booked the same room for somebody else at their reception after they accepted our booking online.Since we had used discount coupons to get a deal for the room and they wanted to make profit during the peak season,they resorted to such unprofessional cheap tactic. They didn't show us any document(s) proving that they had not booked the room after our booking. There was a person named JEETU /JEETENDRA who was coordinating all this and never came forward. We were compensated with another, hotel 5kms away from this hostel. We had no option left as all hotels were booked due to Christmas eve. :( Although the staff there was more professional and courteous than Banjara hostel people. Please be very carreful if you plan to book this hostel.(especially online). Very very unprofessional , unreliable people. Spoiled our evening.

Bajara Hostel is a wonderful place to stay in Udaipur. Such spacious and clean rooms, clean bathrooms and and peaceful place. I will recommend to stay here ud83dudc4cud83cudffbud83dudc4dud83cudffbud83dudc4dud83cudffb

Loved this hostel. The service and hospitality were great. The views from rooftop are good too. The location is right inside old city. Easy to navigate to places

1. Location of the hotel is the best.n2. Service was good even though the staff was less.n3. Rooms are good.

The hotel staff is very helpful, on rooftop restaurant do not order butter paneer masal if expecting it spicy
