We had a stay of 4 days at Raj Niwas. It was a really a very good experience. Jassubhai is a very humble and helpful person who takes care of everything. The roof top is also good where you could enjoy breakfast . Even you could enjoy the sunset and the lit up pichola lake .

Awesome stay and experience.nThe lake view and sunset from the room and terrace was the best feature..nRoom was marvelous and well architectured.nExperienced one of the best hospitality there..

Great place to stay. Caretaker is very friendly. Please note, some cabs won't come inside this street, so for any pickups or drops contact with the Caretaker and he will arrange it for you in advance. He can also arrange cab for day tours if you need it.

Very bad experience.. ! Staff is highly unprofessional.. don't have manners n way to talk to customers.. no provision of in room service.. paying so hefty amount and in return getting so much dissapointment. the only best thing n of what they are charging money is the location of their hotel.. which is also very disturbing when u want to take a calm n peaceful sleep.. very very bad experience!

Raj Niwas is a fantastic hotel which is well situated in prime place of Lal Ghat overseeing lake Pichola. Most of the area can be covered by foot from here... Very nice restaurants nearby... It has fantastic view from breakfast terrace and also from rooms... Rooms are not the right word because the size is so huge it's almost the size of a suite... Bathrooms are very clean with glass cover for shower area and the heritage look for all rooms... Last but not the least, hotel is all about Jassu... He's handling everything single handedly but doing a great show! Finally a fantastic place to spend vacation. If there has to be one negative, breakfast is not prepared here unless it's some basic toasts or eggs, others are bought from outside as told on the previous day and it's not unlimited. But that's just a suggestion to improve, otherwise it's an excellent place!
