Was here 3 years ago. It was beautiful. Had an opportunity to solat there. The hardest part is to look for hotel because they will not take foreigner.Luckily some local people help us. Hope god will give me opportunity to go there again in future.

It's a very beautiful mosque in the centre of Nainitaal. As how enter Nainitaal you will find it amazingly standing on your left near ground between the hills. It gives an amazing beauty to the location.

Nainital Jama Masjid is a marvelous mosque located at Mall Road in Nainital. It is an architectural masterpiece that was built in the year 1882 for the Muslim soldiers in the British army. It became the place where the Muslim army men gathered for the Friday Prayers. Since then, it has been an active mosque where namaaz is offered to the Supreme Lord. It Is Known For:- 1) Nainital Jama Masjid is best known for its Islamic style of architecture. The dome, minarets, and the interiors of the mosque boast the carvings in Arabic 2) To an extent, it also resembles the Jama Masjid located in New Delhi 3) This place has a capacity of accommodating a large number of Muslim and enthusiastic Non-Muslim devotees 4) The festivals of Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Zuha) are celebrated here with a great zest.
