Well maintained museum of National Poet Sumitranandan Pant Ji's memoirs. His birthplace room, his worn jackets, used table, chair and his pics around the world shows a lot that how intellectual he was and how caring he was. The government really did a good job in preserving and collecting the books and renovating his home. The present guide here in Dec 2020, i can't recall his name.. he is really knowledgable in giving you a tour in detail. A must place to visit when in Kausani.

This visit to the museum was extraordinary. The collection of books, photos and artifacts was worth an experienc of the all time great poet. Though the place need more support from the local government to keep it in shape. The officials managing it were really courteous and are doing their job with utmost sincerity.

Am amazing quiet and no frills museum. Calling it a museum is a big stretch. It is a "preserve" at best show casing pics of the great poet and his personal collection of books. Terrace of the building has a nice overlook.
