The best museum of Ladakh representing and showing the rich history of the last ladakh when it was a barren place with trading as common. Lots of artifacts telling you the story of how Central Asian ancestors lived. The whole trip of the tower us very spectacular and exciting. Nearby buildings and surrounding immerse you in the experience with a restaurant serving local food . It is situated in Chuterantag with lots of people whom can lots of wonderful stories. A mosque and gurdwara is also there for religious visit .

Just Ok. If you are going to visit Hall of Fame, that has equally good collection of ancient items and photos with much better Narration. Another must see place is Hemis Museum. If those 2 are. In Your itinerary then this can be given a miss.

It was really amazing experience to see this museum. Artifacts from Central Asian countries, very old Leh pictures, horse saddle, shoes, old dresses and many more old articles are on display. Leh visit is incomplete without visiting Central Asian museum.
