Why this has not been made the mandatory national pilgrimage for all Indians yet ? On way to Leh, from Srinagar, you will reach there in 5 hours. Largest national flag flies here that is visible from Islamabad !!! All our real heroes move the Tricolor, gently, caressed by their souls. You will meet Army jawans, lean, mean, frugal, to inspire the family...... Go there !!!!

This memorial show kargil war history and some pak army's weapons captured during war. It's give info our victory over pak.

This is the most important and popular place to visit in Kargil while visiting Ladakh. Kargil war memorial is located near the Srinagar- Leh highway in Drass. The artilery which was used during Kargil war is kept here.The Tololing hill can be seen on the backside of the war memorial.
