Pathetic haircut for men as well as women. The senior stylists at Lakme salon Middletown Kolkata don’t even know how to hold scissors. It took around an hour for female hair cut and 40 minutes for men haircut and the way they experimented on our hair was pathetic. We went there because we had an offer voucher (1k off on 3k) from CRED but were soo disappointed with such service from Lakme Salon! We had to go for another haircut after this.

Got my new cut and color done at Lakme Middleton and I am so in love!nnThe stylist was really friendly and helped me choose the suitable color. She also talked about the various other services of Lakme.nnMy mom got a pedicure and she was satisfied by the service.nnFor hair care, Lakme is my all time favourite place. Go visit any Lakme Salon without a doubt!

I went there in the month of September, with a lot of expectations as one of the trainers talked through me the entire process of hair colour, hair cut and smoothening.nnThis wasn't the first time I was getting my smoothening done though. I usually get that done once a year, but this was my first at Lakme. The trainer was really friendly and seemed to be knowing what she was saying.nnEverything was fine untill I washed my hair at home after the smoothening. My hair had waves which it shouldn't be having, because I am not new to the smoothening treatment. However i gave it a benefit of doubt on my next visit when I was there for the colour. The trainer saw my hair and assured me that she'll assign the same crew who did the smoothening to fix it.nnI got my hair fixed in the month of October, after me being highly satisfied with my hair colour. Funny how even the 2nd attempt was a fail. Infact it ruined whatever was left. Now I am left with waves all over my hair. Doesn't appear that I have got smoothening done from any angle. I cannot risk the health of my hair anymore by exposing it to even more chemical, as it already has faced it twice. I am not angry, but sheerly heartbroken. I went in there with a lot of expectations. Having said that, the staff are extremely courteous. And the only thing worth mentioning is the hair colour. Thats the only thing I'm happy about. And I am not someone who posts one star public review untill and unless it has really disheartened me.nnLakme I'm sorry, but you have disheartened me and how!!!!nSo next time you go here, think 5 times.
