It was a wonderful place. From watercolor sceneries to acrylic paintings, from cave paintings by prehistoric people and creations from his own excursions as an archaeologist to Bhimbhetka, sites in France, etc, it hosts everything interesting for a budding artist as well as an aspiring historian. His Museum is the best part. It houses replicas of tools used in stone age, real fossils of sea animals, clothes used by people of different eras, their utensils and manuscripts. And the list goes on... Of course with a great guide, it becomes a memorable experience. You can visit the art galleries for free and the museum at reasonable rates.

Awesome place to be at. Millions of year old stuff is available to see at the museum apart from amazing paintings of Dr Mathpal ..

It's quite a treasure trove of knick knacks from the past, with fossils, traditional clothes, paintings and even a cradle ...all painstakingly collected and showcased by Dr Mathpal himself. However, the place is a tad dingy, and has an ild world feel to it. Very reasonably priced, and definitely worth a visit.
