Needs better maintenance . Gives an impression of local marine living beings and of very old (still existing) tribals, like Jarwa, Ongi, Sentinel and others.nPresentation is good, in small halls. Other attractions are status at its lawn and a mid size handicraft shop in compound, with enough stock of local items. Remains closed in lunch time 13.00 to 14.00 hours. ~

Good place to visit to have a look at different collection of shells and other marine specimens

It's a good place to see and know about the history of AndAman and different kind of marine animals. Different tribes such as jarava and other tribes story has been showcased here. Overall if one wants to Know more about the anaaman and other island then this is definitely a must watch. For people in defence the ticket cost is less as this is constructed and maintained by navy. It can 2 house if you watch everything properly. There is also a blue whale skeleton outside.
