What we thought would be ten minute roam around a room of fire fighting equipments, turned into a 45 minutes, information filled tour into workings of fire fighting department, their history, their work culture, importance of fire prevention and firefighting etc. We were shown everywhere by firefighter Mr. Gite, who very patiently explained us everything on display along with programs and activities regularly undertaken by the fire department. The paint work on all walls inside is something to stop and admire. Icing on the cake, as we were about to leave, the fire brigade came into action, and we were able to see how swiftly they respond to emergency calls. Great experience. Thank you fire department for all the effort !! Visitors: please go with an intention to learn.

So much to learn about firefighting.nGood place to know about so many fire-fighting equipments. Firefighting vintage lorry of Pune from Rolls Royce company is placed there which dates back to 1956. Fire-fighting suit is also there which saves a person for 15 min in ud83dudd25. What more they can do is make a small documentary elaborating the topic. No charge for visiting the museum.

It was awesome visit to Fire Museum. We got each and every information from Mr. Jitendra Kumbhar sir who is working here as a firefighter. He gives lot of information about fire fighter, stations, and lot of things. Nice person which Erandwane Fire Fighters station has.nnWe saw old vehicle which is used by firefighters then we have seed lots of things which they used and R & D done on equipment of them also.

We had a official visit to this place from our college. We didn't have much expectations but this was such a good place. They had good collections of vintage as well as modern fire fighting equipments. The officials were very helpful and explained everything in detail. The even gave us a demo of working of the fire tender. If you are into fire and safety field then you must visit this fire station.

Incredible museum to learn about fire safety and vehicles they used.n2 wheeler parking available.nKunal sir has given excellent information about equipments.
