Of all the Vavs in Gujarat, this should be on your wish list. It's unmatched, unparalleled and unique by way of it's positioning and all Govt as well NGO are at a loss as how to revive and restore to it's nearest stature.nnSituated in a lake, only 25% is above water level and 75% is under water ie my presumption. So overall the whole Vav structure is in water. Now recall where can you remember seen such a Vav. That's why a visit is must and wish some resourceful person is able to address the key issue.nnThe entrance is very peculiar and the opening is on a level ground from where a descent steps leads you to lake where this Vav is located. Better to take help of locals to reach here who are very helpful.nnHaving reached, immerse youself in imagining how this Vav was built and how many pillars and structure or idols and statues of historical values are immersed in water for so many years. A lot of thoughts and questions shall arise once you visit this place. Earnestly trying to catch some bigshots attention to this Vav.nnThe photos have a lot more to describe and tell.nnEnjoy.
