One of the oldest schools in Punnapra which imparted primary education to many generations.Government High School, Paravoor is one of the famous academic proficient schools in Alappuzha. It is a very ancient school established more than 130 years ago. This school started as a U.P.School and it was the only government school in Paravoor.nIt gradually became a High School and later Higher Secondary School was started. The School is now having two multi-storeyed building with all modern facilities including computer lab. Digitalisation of the classrooms are in progress. A pre-primary english medium wing is also functioning in an excellent manner.Thanks to the vigilant PTA team and teachers who shares the credit of this buoyant progress.The school is not having a play ground for students
