What an important historical place and yet there is almost no care for its development and maintenance. This could have been developed as an important tourist destination with resorts and tourist amenities, as the place is also quite close to Silchar Airport; it is just 7 kms.nnMany visitors mainly from Silchar visit the place, yet the place lacks the most basic amenities like a small eatery or toilets for visitors. I had visited the place on May 2014 and December 2018 and was pained to see the dismal condition.nnThe monument is adopted by Archaeological Survey of India. The structures are in dilapidated conditions without any look after. Wild growths can be seen everywhere. Queen Chandraprabha Hasnu Park, which was once made and forgotten to be taken care of. The display in the board says, it is of Assam Tourism Development Corporation. Where is the development? Why can't we bring back the glory of this place and make it inviting for people to visit and enjoy this piece of history of Cachar, Assam. If developed, the place can be a part of the tourist circuit of Assam, an important tourism destination and can be a good source of revenue as well.

Cachari Raja Govinda chandra's kingdom...... It is getting damaged day by day... If u wanna visit this place hurry up coz there's no measure taken by any authority to maintain it...
